Ture Boru oversees the implementation of MashinaniWORKS programs as well as spearheads the development and growth of Community Enterprises, Financial Inclusion, and Vocational Training (Ujuzi Manyattani) initiatives.
Previously, Ture set up and operationalized the Government of Kenya’s Youth Enterprise Development Fund as its acting CEO and spearheaded its growth from Ksh. 1 billion (USD 11.8 million) to Ksh. 5.4 billion (USD 63.5 million) in 3 years through strategic partnerships with the private sector. He also orchestrated the successful turnaround of Undugu Fair Trade, a social impact business serving 800 artisan families, from a loss to profitability in just two years.
Ture holds a Master’s in International Business Administration in Strategic Management from the United States International University Africa and a Bachelor of Commerce in Banking and Finance from Kenyatta University.
