Rangelands Savings and Credit Cooperative Organisation (Rangelands SACCO) was founded in 2016 as an independent, community-owned, member-driven institution. The SACCO collaborates with NRT member community conservancies to administer savings and microcredit loans. It has become a catalyst for grassroots development in remote areas where financial institutions are not easily accessible.
Rangelands SACCO remains committed to promoting financial inclusion and driving the growth of local economies by empowering community members in marginalised areas.
All members receive tailored business and financial literacy training, and Village Enterprise Volunteers (VEVs) have been identified and trained to recruit members, generate new business ideas, and follow up on loan repayments.

I have gained valuable knowledge from business training provided by MashinaniWORKS on how to make my business thrive. I have been putting aside funds for unforeseen circumstances and expansion, being more courteous to my customers, and organizing my collections more effectively.
