Senior Tourism Officer

Levis Kibet is a tourism professional with over eight years of progressive experience in destination development and stakeholder coordination. As Senior Tourism Officer at MashinaniWORKS, he plays a central role in positioning northern Kenya as an emerging frontier for sustainable tourism under The Big North brand. His work focuses on building visibility, strengthening strategic partnerships, and unlocking investment opportunities that advance both community livelihoods and conservation.

Earlier in his career, Levis worked with the Council of Governors as a Tourism and Wildlife Technical Officer, where he coordinated tourism initiatives across all 47 counties. He holds a BSc in Tourism Management from Maasai Mara University. He strongly advocates that stable tourism destinations are built through a coordinated approach by all stakeholders.
